Michael Light is an adventure race runner determined to secure one last chance to prove that he and his team can still compete at the highest level. Together they face one of the most demanding races in the world, crossing hundreds of kilometres of jungle, mountains and extreme terrain in a test that pushes their physical and mental limits to the maximum.
However, during the race, the team comes across a stray dog that, against all the odds, decides to follow them on their journey. Michael names him Arthur and, little by little, the dog becomes much more than just an adventure companion. As the team battles to reach the finish line, Arthur shows them the true meaning of loyalty, friendship and perseverance.
